Gr R: Bunny class.
Middles: Froggy class, Owl class.
Juniors: Teddy class.
Toddlers: Butterfly class, Bee class.
Babies: Beetle class.

Each toddler / toddler’s needs are taken care of personally, and each toddler also receives quarterly reports during the year.

The CAPS Curriculum as presented in Gr R is also used for these phases of planning with only an adjustment of the difficulty level for each specific phase, to then prepare them for their Gr R year. 

GRADE R CHILDREN

All pre-schoolers are automatically place in the Grade R class in the year they turn 6.  In the Grade R classes, they are led to school readiness and prepare each Grade R learner for the “Big School”.

The school provides the following:
• 2 Educational Grade R workbooks
• Glue Sticks
• Grey pencil
• 1 Set of turning crayons
• Pencil case
• 1x Flip File

For each Grade R learner, a portfolio is compiled with some of his written work that you receive at the end of the year.  At the end of the year, a learner profile is sent to the Primary Schools of each learner.

Grade R learners follow the CAPS (Continuous Assessment Policy Statement) Curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Education and join workbooks completed in class.
