Weekly work planning and differentiation themes
- To prevent yearly repetition of the same subject matter, the educators plan the weekly themes ahead on a differentiated basis.
- Each theme is adapted according to the interest and study possibilities of the toddlers. As a result, the toddler learns increasingly more about a specific theme.
- We encourage Toddlers to actively take part in theme displays by bringing specified items from home. These items will be returned on Fridays. Please mark it clearly in a plastic bag.
- Grade R learners follow their own program that is put forward by the Education Department and also have to complete their workbooks in class.
General arrangements in respect of the daily programme:
- Arrival- and departure times must be strictly adhered to.
- Parents or taxi drivers must accompany toddlers to and from the gate.
- Taxis must please inform the office with a list of names of the learners.
- Toddlers must please bring refreshments to school, for midday meal.
- Each toddler must bring a small case with an extra change of clothing in case of accidental spillage of paint, cold drinks and other liquids. Please mark all items clearly for example case, clothing, socks and shoes.
- No toys may be brought to the school! Parent, please assist us with this, because it is causing children to fight among each other.
